BTS Serendipity

Serendipity was my FAVORITE music video shoot to date! What an incredible experience getting to work with Cody Jay in LA.

Fun facts:

1. we decided to shoot the video in my house which is crazyy because we really made it look professional.

2. we used colored lights and i learned cody had spent thousands on the equipment and the lights were sooo heavy to move!

3. There is one part of the video where you can see a christmas tree (we tried to hide it as best we could) haha see if you can spot it!

4. i styled all the outfits myself and am soo proud of how it turned out! I also did my makeup and hair by myself. :) Full and FINAL video below!

My talented brother Derek designed this amazing “Real Champagne” album cover for me and i am so excited to share it with you here first! I had a great time shooting this in my friend’s house and my photographer Joe was a master at getting the lights facing me with this unique orange glow. Our thought after looking at the raw images was “wow this looks like something in a Katy perry music video”. We are so proud of this cover and my brother did an amazing wine glass graphic design to complete the art. :) JULY 2nd!!

REAL CHAMPAGNE BTS/Bloopers and BTS!

I just recorded my FIRST WINE SONG called “Real Champagne” with my producer Cody Jay and i am still on such a high from the day!

We changed the melody of the chorus and added so many cool harmonies. I chopped up all the best BTS footage from our recording session in L.A for you to see and you can hear the FULL CHORUS in this video.

I wrote the song about me having a refined palate, and wanting the top shelf, or REAL Champagne. As you know, real champagne has to come from Champagne. France and no other bubbles in the world can be called Champagne. Even in other regions of France, they have to call it Cremant. There is one funny exception to the rule, which is an old school CA winery called Korbel that was grandfathered in to be able to call their wine California Champagne but not just “Champagne”. Interesting stuff! This song is my favorite song to date and i am so excited to keep editing this as it’s just in the early stages of production right now. Stay tuned; i’ll be posting the updated versions of the song here soon! <3

The remixes EP started with one idea to collaborate with Milk N Cooks, a famous producer who has remixed for many artists including Imagine Dragons. I was so excited that they picked homegirl and loved how they made the song their own and added their new vocal hook. Their voice is so unique and it added a layer of depth to the song and is such a banger.

Next, i worked with Cody Lehmann on 2 unique remixes, Homegirl and 8 Hours. Homegirl, we decided, was better than we could have imagined and turned into our best song together TO DATE! It’s dreamy, airy and when the drop hits it’s club readyyyy. I hope you like it and enjoy the story music video that we made. I wrote the song about my homegirl Katie who has truly inspired me more than anyone has in my life.

Cody also wanted to remix our song 8 Hours which turned out amazing! He wanted to speed it up and add different layers and he truly made it such a banger!

Lastly i got to work with Mike Jolly on our 8 Hours remix and he took a beautiful Kygo style slower BPM (that’s Beats per minute for you non music people) He slowed it to 127 BPM and i love how floaty and sexy it sounds! HE also did a unique vocal chop in the chorus that i absolutely love! Hope you like it!
